Mandelbrot competition is tomorrow!!!! ahhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Pick up a permission slip here as an MS Word document. The jpeg one was kind of off color, but that will be updated soon

And don't forget to email me or IM me (bkwrm1012) if you can't make the team round after school!!!!
Namely, if you are: Adam, Harrison, Bill, Dennis, Wei, Aditya, Alex, Jerry, Mark, Kim, or Yang.
I won't be actually online the whole time, but you can just leave a message.

3rd period!!!!! Don't forget!!!!

Plus, we're going to start our next fundraiser soon. More details later

October 18, 2004

People who signed up for Andrushkiw competition:

Wei Chen
Meghna Dua
Pragna Gaddam
Natalie Portnoy
Li Wang
Meixin Wang
Angela Ying
Hyeong Yoon
Bill Zhang

Besides Hyeong and Bill, none of you have paid your dues! Get them in.. or suffer the penalty.. of being stoned..

Hopefully Mandelbrot materials will be in this week.. if not we're.. going to do something.. but in any case NJML will be next Tuesday during first period. It's a 30 minute test, so you shouldn't miss too much of school (gosh darn it) but you need to email Angela whether you wish to give up time out of your precious school day to take a 6 question test.

Practice tomorrow; polygons and triangles.. fun stuff!

We'll probably be trying to make the problems always available online, but no guarantees.

Until Tuesday (hopefully), Wednesday (Mandelbrot?), Thursday (Mandelbrot?), or Tuesday (NJML),
-Dennis

The Meetings section has now been updated to include the problem sets for each week's practice - since solutions are handwritten and I have no scanner, obtain a copy of the solutions from me.

Don't forget, deadline for fundraising is THIS FRIDAY!!!!!! Only until we get all the money in from this fundraiser will we start the next one!

Anyone who is interested in the Andrushkiw competition, please email me

Reminder to all going to CJML this Wednesday: Meet in F1 at 2:50 with your permission slips! Permission slips can be found in the contests section. If your printer sucks, ask me to print out copies for you.

Next week's practice will be on Tuesday, October 12. We will be continuing circles, focusing on triangles inscribed in circles and area problems.
