Congratulations to everyone at CJML yesterday!
Everyone did really well!
The new people who haven't taken the tryouts yet
and haven't contacted Mrs. Berkovich yet, pleast do so immediately.
The next CJML will be on Wednesday, October 6. Go
to the Contests section to download the permission slip form if you are
going (you should know who you are). We will (or should be, at least),
be taking some new people with us, probably based on tryout results.
Once again, if you are done selling lollipops,
please hand your money in! Check the Fundraising section to see whether
or not we've recorded correctly your name and how many bags you took.
Finally, just reminding you about the first
practice on Tuesday!

Tryouts
running today and will be tomorrow; for those of you who have taken it,
please don't try to tell anybody about to take it about the test...
Anyhow, meeting Tuesday, September 28th, afterschool in either F1 or
F3, check back later for verification, as we'll be going over the try
out test with everybody (yes, juniors and seniors, please come) and
similar problems (i.e. geometry and factoring.. things everyone can
do.. yes even you).
Oh, and start getting your money in aka start
selling faster because we have to get in registration money for the
Mandelbrot competition by October 1st.. so pay up =P
CJML still Wednesday, remember to get those
permission slips signed!
- Dennis
PS - Someone will be going to CJML and replace Lee Aroyo...Please email
us if you're interested

(Monday and Tuesday) from 2:20 to 2:50 in F1 after school.
The first CJML is going to be held at Franklin
High School on Wednesday, September 22. Meet at 3:00 (2:50, preferably)
in F1. The members who are going are:
Rajiv Agarwal
Lee Aroyo
Adam Benaroya
Wei Chen
Harrison Hsu
Dennis Jang
Aditya Panda
Natalia Portnoy
Aaron Sin
Li Wang
Angela Ying
Matt Zegarek
Don't forget your permission slips! They can be
found here or (I'd
recommend this to avoid the annoying advertisements online) as a Word doc
Remember go to F2 on Wednesday morning to pick up
a bag of lollipops for fundraising! You will receive a bag of 20
lollipops as well as an envelope for the money. Each lollipop is .50
(no giving discounts unless you intend to pay the rest yourself!)
Finally, practices will start on Tuesday,

competitions dates.

PS- If you have questions about anything, email me
at quasismart1012@hotmail.com
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit: If you want to take another bag (e.g. you
weren't here Friday so you didn't get to take one), tell one of us
three (Angela, Adam, or yours truly.. guess who?) before you get one;
don't take one without asking.. it'll lead to some serious
interrogations/ torture/ etc and missing money.. not good.
